Topo Gigio Restaurant Review:

There is a lot of good food at this very simple, very Italian trattoria, where naming just a few favorite dishes does not tell the whole story. Grilled calamari, pancetta-studded rigatoni al filo di fumo, veal or chicken --- they all satisfy us. Topo has a way with grilling. Vegetables like eggplant, zucchini and bell peppers are anointed with extra-virgin olive oil and served with little adornment. Similarly, squid is grilled and dressed with a lemon and white wine sauce. Lovers of chicken will no doubt be drawn to the prosciutto, Fontina and spinach stuffed breast in porcini mushroom sauce. It’s all the more enjoyable when seats in the outdoor garden are available.
