THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ubon by Nobu Restaurant Review:
Ubon has much to offer: its location, on the fourth floor affording views over the Thames from floor-to-ceiling windows; service is topnotch; and it offers a good cocktail, saké and wine selection. But most of all the food is just as good as the original Nobu in Park Lane and Nobu Berkeley; in fact, given that this restaurant is not full of screamingly fashionable celebs and PRs, the food seems to taste even better. On top of that, you can get a table. All the Nobu hallmark dishes are here: soft-shell crab harumaki with wasabi and balsamic; the most tender Wagyu beef with ponzu sauce; the fish in wafer-thin slices served with sesame-citrus oils; and, of course, the signature dish, black cod in miso sauce, which continues to be the bestseller. Ubon is adventurous, seriously good and stylish. Set lunch £45-£60, set dinner £45-£90.
