Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop Restaurant Review:
This Italian bakery used to epitomize the saying, “Life is uncertain, eat dessert first.” The sweets are still tops, of course, but the menu has been expanded to include panini and muffalleta sandwiches, salads, chicken potpie, and Maryland crab soup. Alcohol is served, as well as all sorts of coffee drinks. Be sure to save room, though: you’ll want to sample Baltimore’s finest cannoli, or one of the over-the-top specials, such as a gooey morte dal cioccolato (chocolate cannoli cake topped with hot fudge) or the Tiny Bubbles for Two (raspberry ice floating in Asti Spumante with tiramisu). Life will seem infinitely sweeter for it. Other locations.
