Villa Gallace Restaurant Review:
The name literally means "The Gallace Home," and that is just the touch the kitchen and staff bring to the table. It's easy to drive right on by the restaurant, but that would be a shame. The Gallace family has been presenting a somewhat standard menu of Italian fare for decades. Linen and crystal complement the intimate setting; the view is a bonus. A dozen antipasto choices, including escargots and calamari, are augmented by a wide range of main courses. In addition to numerous chicken entrées (including chicken Marsala, chicken cacciatore and chicken Genovese) and veal preparations (ranging from veal Parmigiana to veal francese), there are pasta options galore, from spaghetti carbonara to eggplant rollatini, as well as seafood and portobello mushrooms, grouper Florentine and filetto Diane.
