An all-Mexican menu is complemented by a long list of tequilas.
Villa Maria Restaurant Review:
A huge and festive two-story restaurant, Villa María has been a sentimental favorite, pleasing a clientele of locals and tourists alike, for nearly twenty years. The list of tequilas is almost as long as a Russian novel and the house cocktail is a tamarind-flavored margarita. Among the most enticing dishes on the strictly Mexican menu are mild chilies stuffed with crab; medallions of beef in a tequila sauce; and huachinango (red snapper), steamed in a banana leaf with a tamarind sauce. When the mariachis kick in, you might feel a little like you’re in the Mexican pavilion of Disneyland.
