THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Washington Square Restaurant Review:
Situated right on leafy Washington Square, the white enclosed courtyard beckons with tiles designed by Todd Oldham and all manner of designer drinks. Then, there’s the restaurant itself, in varied shades and textures of black, very minimalist and chic, that offers Bites, Larger Bites, Grills and Sides. The tuna tartare is especially good, so are the foie gras ganache and the soft shell crab burger. The roast chicken is first-rate and so are the steak frites that accompany. Indulge in the warm chocolate cake for dessert and more of those drinks because the wine list is a trifle high priced. It is the place to see-and-be-seen and is not as theatrical as some of Starr's other spots. But oh, so glamorous.
