After closing his restaurants Brunoise and MAS Cuisine, chef Michel Ross is back in a prime location on avenue Laurier. On his menu are some of the dishes that made him famous as well as new creations. Sink your teeth into the seared scallops and sweetbreads, but don't miss the warm potato, onion and old cheddar croquettes and pork belly with poached egg and kimchi. He's also a wizard with fish, including sea bream with wild mushrooms, polenta and red wine sauce. At brunch, try the reimagined chicken and waffles with deep-fried quail and local honey. And when the weather cooperates, enjoy your meal with a crisp glass of white on the back patio, one of the nicest oases in the city.
