Windy Ridge Cafe Restaurant Review:
Restaurants in Park City---even the ones that supposedly cater to locals---often have overinflated egos and prices. Take Windy Ridge, for example, where a tiny terrine of french toast will run you $13 and a meager plate of scrambled eggs and potatoes, $10. The brunch is just average and served in a cafeteria-like atmosphere. Lunch and dinner, however, are far more successful with items like the flavorful Southwestern corn chowder, pesto grilled Atlantic salmon and meatloaf. The friendly and attentive servers, however, can't compensate for the dishes that fall short of memorable. Visit on Taco Tuesdays during the fall and summer, but get there early, because the tables fill up quickly. Also on the Tuesday menu are $2 Tecate and Corona beers, along with $3 margaritas. Alternatively, stop in for dessert, most notably the house-made pastries.
