THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Yamakasa Restaurant Review:
Although its mini-mall location doesn't look initially promising, Yamakasa turns out to be one of Hollywood's more handsome venues for good, reliable sushi, with its cream-colored walls, bamboo-covered windows, rice-paper screens and an L-shaped bar manned by several manic chefs. We haven't been quite as impressed as most of the regulars seem to be, but we have enjoyed a number of enticing items, including salmon carpaccio, baked eel-and-asparagus roll, spicy lobster roll, live scallop sushi and monkfish liver sashimi.
