We cannot think of another restaurant in these parts that roots for the home cuisine like this place. Each month the restaurant turns the spotlight on the ethnic foods of a particular U.S. region (Creole, Northern Heartland, Floridian, Hawaiian). Desserts are as American as apple pie, but apple pie would be too tame for this place. Instead, look for such luscious sweets as butterscotch pudding or black-bottom-banana-cream pie. The All-American wine list includes no fewer than 24 Zinfandels, followed by an impressive collection of Cabernet Sauvignons, Chardonnays and Sauvignon Blancs.
