Fullerton restaurant Stubrik's Steakhouse & Bar has announced plans for a second location. The new space will be situated in Orange, in close proximity to the famed traffic circle that anchors the city’s Old Towne Orange neighborhood. It is slated to open in winter 2020.
Scarlet Kitchen & Lounge is the Rancho Mission Viejo restaurant that aims to merge East Coast classics with West Coast sensibilities. The elevated comfort cuisine featured at this family-run venue is overseen by executive chef and East Coast native Paige Riordan, who was previously at Reynard in Brooklyn’s Wythe Hotel. Guests can expect a slew of approachable dishes featuring unique twists, such as beet tartare with cashew crema, pork and lamb ragoût with pappardelle, and Reuben tacos. Ways & Means Oyster House has shuttered. Its closure in Huntington Beach’s Pacific City shopping center marks the second time the venue has closed in Orange County. Prior to the Huntington Beach locale, it had operated in the city of Orange, just east of the Old Towne Orange traffic circle. No replacement venue has been announced. Citizen Kitchen in The Hotel Fullerton has shuttered. Casual ramen venue Sakura will occupy the space.
