Restaurant Akrame, the flagship venue of Akrame Benallal, has moved to a new location. Previously in the 16th arrondissement, it now welcomes guests at 7, rue Tronchet in the 8th arrondissement. Facing a private courtyard, the establishment can seat up to 26 people in the dining room and 14 people on the terrace. Lunch menu at €60. Chef Marc Veyrat Returns
Celebrated chef Marc Veyrat has returned to the stoves at La Maison des Bois in Manigold in the French Alps. The restaurant re-opened in July 2016 after suffering a fire in March 2015. La Maison des Bois, Col de la Croix-Fry, 74230 Manigod, +33 (0)4 50 60 00 00.

Chef Shuffle

Formerly at Gordon Ramsay in the Trianon Palace Versailles, Simone Zanoni has been appointed the new chef of Le George in Four Seasons Hôtel George V Paris. Like his predecessor, Marco Garfagnini, he’s in charge of preparing Mediterranean fare. The menu remains the same, notably the signature dish, the onion tarte Tatin with Parmesan ice cream.
