Alsatian classics and bistro faves pepper the menu. But here, the Lyonnaise salad sports Nueske bacon, and general manager David Ligon (who clocked time at Va Pensiero and Trio) presides over the Edison Park digs. Café Touché, 6731 N. It'll be the stuff of fast food lovers' dreams: thick shakes, Chicago-style dogs and griddled, pressed burgers. The mostly carryout, counter-service spot serves all the standbys for cheap, including kebabs and baba ghanouj. El Souk, 808 N. Expect globally infused French fare, courtesy of exec chef Jonadab Silva (along with David Lipschutz of Blind Faith Café), as well as about 200 wines.
