The master mixologists at Ty Lounge---located inside Four Seasons Resort, The Biltmore Santa Barbara---have concocted "Twelve Days of Cocktails," and will be serving up the menu of a dozen holiday-inspired specialty drinks during the month of December. Enjoy a combination of modern creations, such as a white chocolate peppermint martini, as well as traditional wintry favorites such as a hot toddy or eggnog. Brad Sherman, formally the manager of Sojourner Café, has purchased downtown Santa Barbara Italian restaurant Aldo's Italian Restaurant and announced his intent to attract a more local customer base. Italian fare will remain the focus, but a lighter décor and more casual atmosphere are in the works. Aldo's Italian Restaurant, 1031 State St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101, 805-963-6687.
Chef Robert Perez and his culinary family are the new owners of Seagrass Restaurant. Former owner Mitchell Sjerven, the restaurateur behind this and several other notable eateries in Santa Barbara, opted to sell in order to focus his attention on his two other local projects: Wine Cask and bouchon.
